What data is collected Digital Tools Review Hub collects information you provide directly (for example, when you subscribe to a newsletter, leave a comment or review, contact us, or create an account). This may include your name, email address, username, profile information, and any content you submit (comments, reviews, ratings). We also collect technical and usage information automatically when you visit the site, such as IP address, device identifiers, browser type and version, operating system, referring/exit pages, pages viewed, search terms, and interaction data. We may collect cookies and similar identifiers and collect aggregated or anonymized data derived from personal information. If you use a third-party service linked from our site to make a purchase, the merchant may collect payment and billing information directly — we do not collect or store full payment card numbers. How it is used We use personal information to operate, maintain, and improve the site and our services; to respond to your inquiries and provide customer support; to send administrative messages and, when you opt in, marketing or newsletter communications; to administer accounts, moderation, and community features; to analyze usage, troubleshoot and prevent fraud or abuse; and to personalize content and recommendations. We may also use information for security, compliance, legal obligations, and to enforce our Terms of Use. Aggregated or anonymized data may be used for research and analytics without restriction. Where required, we rely on your consent, performance of a contract, legitimate interests, or legal obligations as our lawful basis for processing. Cookies and tracking technologies We and our partners use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, local storage, and similar technologies to recognize your device, remember preferences, enable site features, analyze traffic, and deliver relevant content. Session cookies expire when you close your browser; persistent cookies remain for a set period or until you delete them. Third parties, such as analytics providers and social networks, may place their own cookies when you interact with embedded content or buttons. You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings and opt out of certain types of third-party tracking using vendor opt-out tools (for example, Google Analytics opt-out). Note that disabling cookies may limit site functionality. We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals; instead we provide cookie controls and opt-out options where available. Third-party services and affiliate links We use third-party service providers to host and operate the site, deliver email, analyze traffic (for example, Google Analytics), process payments (for purchases made through linked merchants), provide advertising, and facilitate social sharing. These providers may collect and process information about your interactions with our site under their own privacy policies. Our content may include affiliate links and we participate in affiliate programs (for example, Amazon Associates and other merchant affiliate networks). If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from that sale. We do not charge you extra for purchases made through affiliate links. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites; please review their privacy policies before providing personal information. Data retention We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide services, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Examples: account and profile information is retained while the account exists and for a reasonable period after account deletion for backup and legal compliance; newsletter subscription data is retained until you unsubscribe; comments and user-generated content remain on the site unless removed by you or by us for policy reasons; analytics and logs are retained in aggregated or pseudonymized form and for limited timeframes set by our analytics providers. If you request deletion of your personal data, we will delete it unless we are required to retain it by law or for legitimate business reasons (for example, to maintain records of transactions or to prevent fraud). User rights Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, update, or delete personal information we hold about you; to receive a copy of your data or transmit it to another controller; to restrict or object to certain processing; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information as defined under CCPA, but you may opt out of certain targeted advertising). To exercise rights, please contact us using the contact information below and provide sufficient information to verify your identity. We will respond to verifiable requests in accordance with applicable law and generally within 30 days; we may request additional information to verify your request and may extend the response period when permitted. Children's privacy Our site and services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently obtained personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as practicable. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps. Contact If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, wish to exercise your privacy rights, or need to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, please contact us at privacy@digitaltoolsreviewhub.com. We will endeavor to respond to inquiries promptly and to resolve any concerns in a timely manner.
